The Dept. of Computer Science was established in the year 1999 .M.Sc. Computer Science was started in 1999. M.C.A. was introduced during the year 1999.

The Department has three laboratories with 160 latest systems. The Department has modern teaching aids like L.C.D Projector, Over head projector and VCR / VCD player. The Dept. has air conditioned seminar hall and E. Class with all facilities.

 

The Computer centre is well equipped with Hi – End servers and Desktop with latest version of licensed software that provides state of the art computing facilities. The Department is maintaining Hi-End servers with Lan connectivity to all the departments.

The Dept. encourages the students to participate in various academic activities conducted by different institutions.

Industrial visits to leading IT organizations are arranged by the Dept. at periodc intervals. This enables the students to bridge the gap between theory and practice.

 

The Dept. helps Non – Teaching Staff and office staff by conducting various training programmers to enhance their knowledge on ICT.

The Dept. is actively involving in conducting camps interviews and arranging career counseling in the I.T. field. Conducted Campus drives by reputed companies like Wipro,
